about LEIGH RAYMOND

Liberty & Co was created by Leigh Raymond, a marketing strategist, business consultant and former executive search specialist who has spent decades working across corporate leadership, recruitment and entrepreneurship.

Leigh began her career as a corporate executive in marketing and advertising, working inside organisations and experiencing first hand the realities of building a career within corporate structures.

She then spent 13 years in executive search and recruitment, interviewing thousands of candidates and advising organisations on senior hires.

During that time she also counselled thousands of professionals on the next step in their careers, helping them think through promotions, career transitions and, in many cases, whether starting their own business was the right move.

This experience means Leigh has spent years listening to people unpack their experience, strengths, ambitions and concerns about what comes next. The same structured thinking that helped executives make career decisions now sits at the heart of Liberty & Co.

After leaving executive search Leigh built her own marketing consulting firm, Dragonfly, where she has worked with businesses across strategy, marketing and growth.

Alongside this work she has continued helping experienced women translate their professional expertise into independent businesses.

More recently Leigh stepped away from traditional work structures and took what she calls a Grown Up Gap Year, travelling extensively while continuing to run her business after the death of her husband Mike. It has proven transformative.
